Good timing. I watched the same video earlier this week. On your Teton workshop last year I tried the HDR method & the grad filter version several times. Both worked but in the end I was more comfortable and got better results with the grads. At least for me using them slows me down in a good way making me think harder about what I’m trying to capture & convey in the final image. By the way I’m in town this week. Tony

Last year I bought a camera (Canon R6 mII) that is much smarter than me and I’m trying to figure this all out. I want to photograph the beautiful murals and street art found all over Athens GA but not sure how to get the saturation I want and was thinking possibly using ND filters to get the longer exposure (not even sure if that’s how to use them). To your point, YouTube has been a great tool for learning but it can be difficult to know if you’re getting expert advice, hot takes or the advice of someone less experienced than myself.
